PP Edge Banding Customizable

Polypropylene, also known as PP , is a semi-crystalline thermoplastic. It has high impact resistance, strong mechanical properties, and resistance to a variety of organic solvents and acid and alkali corrosion. PP edge banding is made of PP resin with a variety of functional additives added through extrusion, cooling, printing, embossing and other processes. It has the advantages of safety, zero toxicity, light weight, good toughness, and good heat resistance.

Extend the life of furniture

PP edge banding is attached to the side of the board, it helps to cover and protect the exposed edge of the wood panel from moisture and wear.

Waterproof and UV resistant

PP edge banding can be used for outdoor or indoor furniture applications. It has good waterproof properties and will not let moisture in, and has good UV resistance and will not fade easily under strong sunlight.

High impact strength

PP edge banding is very strong and durable, not easy to crack, and has good flexibility, high temperature resistance, and lighter weight.

Safety and environmental protection

Compared with edge banding made of other materials, PP edge banding is very safe and environmentally friendly, with zero toxicity. PP material is also widely used in food utensils.

We use Baerlocher stabilizer, Jowat back glue, DuPont ink and titanium dioxide, BASF color powder to ensure product stability, firmness, good trimming effect, and high color matching.

About Matching Effect

On the basis of ensuring good quality, we pursue high consistency between product color texture and customer samples, ensuring more than 97% similarity, and one-to-one replication. And effectively control the color stability between different batches!

About Product Quality

Our products have passed the European AIDIMME test and have the best ink adhesion. The white edge banding has stable color and yellowing resistance level of up to 4~5 (see SGS test report for details, the highest level is 5).

About Environmental Protection Level

Our edge banding products fully comply with the EuRohs environmental protection standards, including: formaldehyde content, migratable elements, phthalates, etc. are fully compliant and non-toxic!
